Bellevue

When our clients inquired about designing a nursery for their first child, there was one exciting caveat: the gender would be a surprise! We wanted to think outside of the gray and yellow gender neutral box, and instead, embraced a serene palette of light blue and sage green.

We believe in nurseries that will continue to grow with their occupants and selected timeless upholstery like the English roll arm swivel glider and box pleated ottoman which will be a comfort to mom-to-be now, and can easily be repurposed in future rooms. We also believe in starting ‘em young when it comes to beautiful fabrics, art, & antiques.

Special pieces like an engraved French Louis Philippe mirror, sage green ginger jars found in Maine and converted to lamps, & antique butterfly bookplates brought back from Brussels by our ever stylish client add character. The playful animal heads are a nod to a memorable safari taken by our clients pre-baby.

Client Testimonial

“Lindsay combines the art of interior design with the science of highly effective project management to deliver spectacular results. It was a seamless process working with her, marked by frequent and transparent communication, easy collaboration and ultimately culminated in a beautiful nursery that was delivered ahead of time and on budget. Lindsay listened closely to my wishes for the room, including a particular fabric I wanted to incorporate, and created a serene space that I could never have designed myself - but at the same time, reflects my love for antiques, Southern chintz and bespoke touches that can be found throughout the rest of my house.

Lindsay kept me informed each step of the way, leading the process from end to end expertly. As someone who is a Type A project manager, it can be tough for me to let someone else lead - but Lindsay quickly made me feel at ease-- something I truly appreciate amidst a grueling work and travel schedule. Thank you Lindsay for making our nursery such a special place to welcome our new family member!”
